KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK–GIBBON SANCTUARY—NAMERI NATIONAL PARK—MANAS NATIONAL PARK

DAY-1

(Guwahati–KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK)–
Arrive Guwahti airport and received by EITT staff and drive roughly for 5 hours to reach the Kaziranga National Park. Lunch en route in a nice resort. After reaching Kaziranga check into a beautifully located jungle lodge. If time permits we will have a walk in a nearby tribal village.Dinner and overnight in the lodge.

DAY-2

(KAZIRANGA N.P.)– After breakfast start your jeep safari in one of the ranges of the park accompanied by an expert naturalist. Lunch in the lodge. Afternoon, another jeep safari in a different range accompanied by an expert naturalist. Dinner and overnight.

DAY-3

(KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK)–
Today,early morning we will see the Kaziranga National Park (Central range) on elephant back. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky, the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. We will return to the lodge for breakfast or have breakfast inside the park (as you wish). Post breakfast go for your last jeep safari in the park in an another range. Come back to the lodge for lunch and post lunch visit a weaving centre run by an entrepreneurial village lady. Dinner and overnight.

DAY-4

(JORHT)- After an early breakfast, drive for roughly 3 hours to Jorhat and check in a nice hotel. Lunch in a tea estate with the presence of the tea estate owners and post lunch enjoy a tea walk. Dinner & overnight in the hotel

DAY-5

—(GIBBON SANCTUARY)–Today we drive early for an hour to Hollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary, Moriani at Jorhat.This sanctuary houses the beautiful ape Hollock Gibbon and pin tailed macaques, capped langurs, Himalayan Giant squarrel, Assamese macaque and many species of birds.

Enjoy a guided walk inside the sanactuary hunting all these amazing animals and birds. There will be a picnic breakfast and some other refreshments. Come back to the hotel for lunch. In the evening have a walk in the local market. Dinner & overnight.

DAY-6

(NAMERI ECO CAMP)–After an early breakfast, drive for approximately 5 hours to reach Eco camp at Nameri National Park Eco camp is located at the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border (Eco camp has comfortable double bedded tents with a thatched roof canopy). Sometimes there is a chance of seeing rare hornbills near the camp area. After lunch go for a village walk. Dinner and overnight.

DAY-7

(NAMERI-TEZPUR)– After breakfast drive for half an hour to the rafting point of the Nameri National Park. Rafting in the Jia Bharali river for two hours. Come back to Eco camp for lunch and post lunch, a jungle walk to see some of the amazing species of birds, other mammals. Dinner & overnight

DAY-8

(MANAS N.P)– Have a relaxing breakfast and then drive roughly for 8 hours to the Manas National Park, a World Heritage Site decalred by UNESCO in 1985 and project Tiger Reserve beaytifully located in the foothills of Bhutan Himalayas in Assam. Lunch will be on the way in a nice restaurant. Check in to a jungle lodge once you reach Manas National Park

DAY-9

(MANAS N.P)—- Today you have a relaxing breakfast and after breakfast walk in a Bodo tribal village, bodos are one of the most fascinating tribes living in Assam. Lunch in the lodge and post lunch a jeep safari inside the park accompanied by an expert naturalist. Once you come back to the lodge enjoy a Bodo tribal dance.

DAY-10

(MANAS NATIONAL PARK TO GUWAHATI, 180 KMS / 5 ½ HRS)–

An early morning elephant ride today for an hour. After the ride come for breakfast in the lodge. After breakfast drive to Guwahati, lunch enroute in a restaurant. Check in to a nice hotel once you reach Guwahati. Dinner & overnight.

DAY-11

Transfer to Airport for your ongoing flight or any extended tour of your choice with EITT.
